The Door Between Two Eras
For years, this solid wood door marked the entrance to one of Memorial Stadium’s most consequential behind-the-scenes spaces.
Before Nebraska football moved its locker room to North Stadium in 2006, Husker players passed through this doorway as they prepared for Saturdays in Memorial Stadium. When the South Stadium space later became the visiting team locker room, the same entrance began welcoming the opponents who came to Lincoln to face Nebraska.
Mounted beside it is the bronze “Huskers Locker Room” plaque, complete with its Nebraska football helmet design — a fitting reminder of the room’s earlier life as the Huskers’ own.
Together, the door and plaque tell a story that spans both sides of the game: Nebraska preparing to defend its home field, and visiting teams getting ready to step into one of college football’s most imposing environments.
Removed and preserved through the Big Red Rebuild, the pair makes a substantial statement piece for a Husker room, office, business, collection, or custom architectural project.

Before you buy
Is this really from Memorial Stadium?
Yes. Every piece was removed directly from the building during the Big Red Rebuild, not made to look like it was. Each one is documented in its original location before it is unbolted, and arrives with its provenance recorded.
What condition should I expect?
These are original pieces from a working building, not reproductions. Expect the wear that comes from years of Saturdays — scratches, fading, marks where hands and feet found the same spot. We clean each piece and make it safe to handle. We do not repaint or restore to new, because the wear is most of what you are buying.
Why is there a removal and handling fee?
Every order carries a $40 removal and handling fee, charged once per unique item. Crews take each piece out of the building by hand, and that work is real. It is shown in your cart before you check out rather than added at the last step.
When will I get it?
Pieces are released as they come out of the building during the Big Red Rebuild. Larger items are picked up in Lincoln by appointment once removal is complete; smaller pieces ship. Each entry says which applies before you buy.
How do I pay?
Checkout is handled by Shopify. You build your order here, then finish payment on their secure checkout. We never see or store your card details.
