The Number Was Part of the Stadium
For years, these oversized section numbers did one simple job: help Husker fans find their place inside Memorial Stadium. Painted directly across the wood planks of the stadium, they became part of the visual landscape of game day.
Rather than recreate the signs, sections of the painted wood will be carefully removed and preserved together, keeping the number, surrounding paint, and character of the stadium surface intact. The result is a substantial architectural piece that looks just as natural hanging in a fan cave, den, office, bar, or collection as it once did above the seats.
For fans who spent Saturdays in a particular section, few pieces could feel more personal.

Before you buy
Is this really from Memorial Stadium?
Yes. Every piece was removed directly from the building during the Big Red Rebuild, not made to look like it was. Each one is documented in its original location before it is unbolted, and arrives with its provenance recorded.
What condition should I expect?
These are original pieces from a working building, not reproductions. Expect the wear that comes from years of Saturdays — scratches, fading, marks where hands and feet found the same spot. We clean each piece and make it safe to handle. We do not repaint or restore to new, because the wear is most of what you are buying.
Why is there a removal and handling fee?
Every order carries a $40 removal and handling fee, charged once per unique item. Crews take each piece out of the building by hand, and that work is real. It is shown in your cart before you check out rather than added at the last step.
When will I get it?
Pieces are released as they come out of the building during the Big Red Rebuild. Larger items are picked up in Lincoln by appointment once removal is complete; smaller pieces ship. Each entry says which applies before you buy.
How do I pay?
Checkout is handled by Shopify. You build your order here, then finish payment on their secure checkout. We never see or store your card details.
