Yes. This Too.
There are stadium collectibles you expect to see. Seats. Signs. Furniture. Pieces from the suites.
And then there is this.
For years, thousands of Husker fans walked into Memorial Stadium on football Saturdays and encountered one of the building’s most practical, unmistakable, and probably least-photographed fixtures: the stadium urinal trough.
Now it is coming out too.
For the Husker fan, this creates a unique, certainly unforgettable opportunity in the entire Memorial Stadium Collection. Nobody is going to walk into your garage, basement, shop, backyard, or Husker room and ask, “Where did you find a stadium urinal trough?”
They are going to ask: “Wait. Is that actually from Memorial Stadium?”
Yes. Yes, it is.
So What Exactly Do You Do With One?
That part is up to you.
Fans at other stadiums have turned retired troughs into oversized planters, backyard conversation pieces, game-room displays, garden features, shop fixtures, and all kinds of projects that probably never appeared in the manufacturer’s instruction manual.
- Fill it with flowers and build the most Nebraska planter on the block.
- Make it the centerpiece of a garage or workshop.
- Build it into a display for Husker memorabilia.
- Turn it into a bold piece of outdoor décor.
- Or clean it up, preserve it exactly as it is, and enjoy owning the kind of Memorial Stadium artifact that requires almost no explanation.
While plenty of people will own something with a Nebraska logo on it, very few will be able to point across the room and say, “That came out of Memorial Stadium.”
The Big Red Rebuild gives some of those unexpected pieces a chance to survive the renovation. And if you already know exactly where you would put it, you are probably the person we preserved it for.

Before you buy
Is this really from Memorial Stadium?
Yes. Every piece was removed directly from Memorial Stadium during the Big Red Rebuild, not made to look like it was. Each item is documented in its original location before removal so its history stays connected to the stadium.
What condition should I expect?
These are original pieces from a working stadium, not reproductions. Expect scratches, fading, marks, and other signs of years of use. We clean each piece and make it safe to handle, but we do not restore it to look new. The wear is part of its story.
Why is there a removal and handling fee?
The removal and handling fee varies by item based on the work required to remove, prepare, and handle it. Fees are shown clearly in your cart before checkout.
When will I get my item?
Items are released as they come out of Memorial Stadium, and different parts of the building come out at different times.
Anything that ships, ships after the season ends, and you will get an email with tracking the day it goes out.
Seats come out during Thanksgiving week. Once they are assembled and processed they will be ready for pickup in Lincoln in early 2027, by appointment — we will write to you when yours is ready. You do not need to chase us.
How do I pay?
Checkout is handled securely through Shopify. Build your order on BuyGBR.com, then complete your payment through Shopify checkout.
Where do I pick up my order?
Pickup will take place in Lincoln by appointment once your items are ready. We will contact you with pickup details and available times, so you will not need to contact us to find out when your order is ready.
Are the product photos of the exact item I will receive?
Not always. Many of the images on the site are artistic renditions and may not show the exact condition of the item you receive. Each rendition is based on photographs of the actual items inside Memorial Stadium.
Because these are original stadium pieces, condition and wear will vary from item to item.
What happens if an item I purchased cannot be removed or is damaged during removal?
If an item purchased during the presale cannot be successfully removed from Memorial Stadium, or is damaged during removal, you will receive a full refund.
Will more Memorial Stadium items be added to the site?
Yes. More items will be added throughout the holiday season and into next year. Keep checking back to see what other pieces and treasures from Memorial Stadium become available.
What if an item I want is sold out?
For most items, “SOLD OUT” means no additional inventory is available. For select items, there may be a chance that more inventory becomes available.
If there is a sold-out piece you were hoping to preserve, contact support@raregoods.com for more information.
Can someone else pick up my order for me?
Yes. If you cannot pick up your order yourself, someone else can pick it up on your behalf. They must bring the QR code included in your pickup confirmation email.
Can I have a pickup-only item shipped to me?
No. If an item is listed as pickup only, it must be picked up in Lincoln. Shipping is not available for stadium seats, chairs, or other large items.
Where do you ship?
Items marked “Shipping Available” can be shipped within the contiguous United States.
We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. island territories.
